CHARACTER INFORMATION
Character Name: Narancia Ghirga
Age:17 19 as of the last time he was here.
Canon: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind

Personality: Narancia is, on surface level, a rambunctious, cranky, and temperamental young man. He's easily riled up, making death threats over such things as insulting his low education level, and chose to immediately and violently beat up an innocent passerby (who admittedly yelled at and threatened him first) on suspicion of being an enemy. This temper is also showcased in his fight with Formaggio, when Narancia sicced his Stand on Formaggio while violently kicking the car Formaggio was hiding in and screaming about how he was going to kill him. He's also got a short attention span and can be a bit slow on the uptake, as shown when he needed to draw a map to remember where to go, when he took an oddly long time to figure out that Formaggio's Stand was shrinking him, and again later on when he became distracted by a group of frogs made via Giorno's Stand. Narancia can also come off as childish and immature, as seen when he compared Mista's improvised stitches to a comic book and again later when he described hotwiring a car as 'smashing the lock open and fiddling with the engine until it goes vroom'.
However, there is of course more to him than this. Narancia refuses to fully open up to those he doesn't fully trust due to being neglected by his father and betrayed by his previous group of friends, and tends to hold onto grudges, such as his refusal to forgive his father for neglecting him, but is incredibly loyal to those he does trust. This is perhaps best seen when he went ahead and joined Passione behind Bruno's back despite being told not to because Bruno helped Narancia at his literal lowest point, earning his respect and causing Narancia to view Bruno as someone he wanted to follow. He would do anything for his friends, up to and including refusing to tell an enemy where the rest of the group was hiding at risk of death, and cutting off his own tongue to get rid of an enemy Stand that was making him say the opposite of what he meant. (He knew he would be able to recover from this, but it was still a bold move.) His ill temper also hides a surprising level of adaptability and strategy in fights, allowing him to come up with such tactics as setting a number of parked cars on fire to corner a fleeing opponent and managing to predict where an enemy Stand would teleport to next in order to accurately shoot it, along with enough stubbornness to not give up until his target is dead. He's even able to interpret the rather barebones info his own Stand's radar gives him on where his target is, displaying an ability to guess which radar dot is what he's looking for based on size and speed.
Narancia also displays a certain amount of empathy, mainly in regards to Trish and how they were both betrayed by people who were supposed to care for them. This is best displayed when Narancia's realization that Trish's situation is similar to his own provides the motivation he needed to betray Passione with his friends, when before that moment he was indecisive and was begging Bruno to tell him what to do. The death of Abbacchio is another character moment, as he was distraught at the death of his friend and even begged Giorno to bring him back before finally breaking down sobbing.
His Stand, Aerosmith, is highly reflective of his personality as well, as Stands tend to be. The Stand has three main abilities, two of which (the twin machine guns under its wings and the bomb that it can drop on a target) reflect his quick to anger and volatile nature. However, the third ability (a radar that tracks carbon dioxide sources) reflects his loyalty and persistence, as he often uses it to track down people by their breathing.
Finally, Narancia is not resigned to his lot in life and wants to improve, as he is shown receiving tutoring in math from Fugo during his introduction (even if he's also shown in that same moment to be unable to solve a fairly nondifficult multiplication problem) and eventually expresses a desire to return to school despite knowing that he would likely face teasing for his age and lack of education. It's just too bad he died before he could make that happen.
