CharacterName: Narancia Ghirga
Series: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
Timeline: Immediately after his death in episode 35 of Golden Wind
Canon Resource Links: Info herePersonality: Narancia is, on surface level, a cranky and temperamental young man. He's easily riled up, making death threats over such things as insulting his education level, and choosing to immediately and violently beat up an innocent passerby (who admittedly yelled at him) on suspicion of being an enemy. He's also childish, needing to draw a map on where to go in order to remember and quickly getting squicked out when he thought he saw two of his friends having sex. His childishness is only made worse by the fact that he never completed elementary school, a fact that he's sensitive about.
However, there is of course more to him than this. Narancia is slow to trust others, but is incredibly loyal to those he does trust. He would do anything for his friends, up to and including refusing to tell an enemy where the rest of the group was hiding at risk of death, and
cutting off his own tongue to get rid of an enemy Stand that was making him say the opposite of what he meant. (He knew he would get better, but still.) His temper also hides a surprising level of strategy in fights, allowing him to come up with such tactics as setting a number of parked cars on fire to corner a fleeing opponent and managing to predict where an enemy Stand would teleport to next in order to accurately shoot it. He's even able to interpret the rather barebones info his own Stand's radar gives him on where his target is, being able to guess which radar dot is what he's looking for.
Narancia also displays a certain amount of empathy, mainly in regards to Trish and how they were both betrayed by people who were supposed to care for them. The death of Abbacchio is another character moment, as he was distraught at the death of his friend and even begged Giorno to bring him back before breaking down sobbing.
His Stand, Aerosmith, is highly reflective of his personality as well. The Stand has three main abilities, two of which (the twin machine guns under its wings and the bomb that it can drop on a target) reflect his quick to anger and volatile nature. However, the third ability (a radar that tracks carbon dioxide sources) reflects his loyalty and persistence, as he often uses it to track down people by their breathing.
Finally, Narancia is not resigned to his lot in life and wants to improve, as he is shown receiving tutoring in math during his introduction and eventually expresses a desire to return to school despite knowing that he would likely face teasing for his age. It's just too bad he died before he could make that happen.

Victory Road Sample: It's been a rough day for Narancia. He woke up bodyswapped into his friend Giorno's body because of Stand BS, then found himself very abruptly moved from the Coliseum, in Italy, to what seems to be some sort of Pokemon world? And he's in Team Rocket apparently?
And his Stand is gone?
Honestly, he's blaming some sort of Stand BS for this too. Wouldn't even be the weirdest thing a Stand did so far. (Though all things considered, it's pretty high up the list. Probably somewhere behind 'bodyswapping', 'showing up and giving him a Stand', and 'continuing to exist even after the Stand user behind it died'.)
Either way, he's already in the middle of training now, stuck having to practice lockpicking (a skill he already has, thank you very much), and venting his frustrations over the current situation to the dog Pokemon (a Houndour, apparently?) he woke up with.
"Is this because I wanted to say yes to that grunt on Nugget Bridge that one time? I know I was annoyed that the game wouldn't let me and I had to fight him instead, but I didn't think this would happen."
The Houndour just cocks his head and watches, quietly, apparently not understanding what Narancia is talking about. The guy watching him do this training seems annoyed too, and is about to tell him to shut up, when the lock Narancia's been working on clicks open.
"There, I got it open." Narancia turns to give the Rocket member a smug look, having previously said he already knew how to pick locks, only to get an irritated sigh in response.
"Do it again, without the commentary this time." Narancia considers talking back, but thinks better of it and steps back to let the lock get reset. During this pause he turns to look at the Houndour again, talking to him while he has the chance.
"I'm naming you Volare, okay?" Volare barks in response, so Narancia figures he must have made a good choice there. He doesn't have much chance to consider this however, as the Rocket member steps back from the lock and gestures him to go again with a flat look of 'please shut up and do your training'. Narancia in turn gives a flat look back, but does indeed shut up and do it again.
